TWO WAYS TO MEASURE A RING
-
1. MEASURE THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF YOUR FINGER
What you need:
- A flexible measuring tape or thin strip of paper and ruler.
- The finger you intend for use with this particular ring!
Step 1: Wrap your measuring tape around the intended finger so as to gauge its circumference.
Alternatively use a long string or thin strip of paper then measure against a ruler.
Step 2: Check below table and refer to the circumference column.
-
2. MEASURE THE DIAMETER OF YOUR RING
What you need:
- An already owned ring which fits that finger intended for a new one.
- A ruler and measuring tape.
Step1: To determine diameter, place your ring on top of measuring tape or ruler. Make sure that you measure the shortest distance between two interior spots across the inside surface surrounded by a metal band as against the back with the outer side.
Step 2: Check the table below and look at the diameter column for your size.
